Matthew Preston

Microbiology & Biochemistry, B.S.

Certified Nutritionist

Biological Nutritionist

As a Colorado native and avid outdoors-man, Matt majored in Microbiology and Bio-Chemistry at the University of Kansas and fell in love with sports nutrition. As a state athlete in high school, Matt was involved in varsity basketball, football, and track. He loves being involved and looks forward to continuing to develop new relationships in the community.

Hey there, I’m Matt Preston!

Most days you can find me at one of our Colorado Nutrition stores in Boulder or Fort Collins.

I am mostly known for being a prankster, speaking my mind (even when it's not advised) and sharing information about the scienc-y details of nutrition.

People often refer to me as a nutritional guru.

I love serving the world by helping my clients learn about food and how it fuels their body! I love sharing the knowledge I have grown to know because of my passion for how biology and chemistry make our bodies work and seeing their personal transformations.

The things I am most passionate about in life are my faith, my family, and being a legitimate resource for science-based nutrition advice.

When I’m not busy working, you can catch me spending time with my family. I enjoy taking my older girls to the gym and spending time outdoors BBQ'ing, camping, or going for a drive with the windows down.

If you’re dying to hear more, here are five things you might not know about me.

1. I am a fifth-generation University of Kansas Jayhawk.

2. I managed a microbiology lab for five years before getting into the nutrition business.

3. I have never had a cavity.

4. I have an irrational fear of koalas.

5. About eight years ago, when my great dane had an accident in the middle of the night, instead of thinking I could clean it up well enough, I just cut a 6x6" square out of my carpet and threw it in the wash machine! Let's just say, it didn't fit back into the original square. Oh yeah, AND I was renting.

Veronica Preston

As a couple, and both true Colorado natives Matt and Von strive to better one another and serve everyone around them each and every day.
